Free Early Help training is available to partners for people working with children and families in the city. This one-day training session is to support staff to have a clear understanding of what is involved when providing Early Help to families. The course covers all aspects of providing Early Help support from consent to restorative approaches. The available dates and venues are below, and the link to book can be found here.

Examples of roles that would meet course criteria:
The training would support any professional providing early intervention support to families, including (but not limited to):
- School home-school link workers
- Safeguarding officers from schools, colleges and alternative provisions
- Members of a school inclusion team
- Health visitors
- Education Welfare Officers
- Support workers working with families in the charity or health sector
- Youth Offending officers
- Workers in early years settings such as nurseries
- Staff working in community play schemes
- Sports club welfare officers
