Down Syndrome Forum - 10th November 2025

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System is inviting people with Down Syndrome to the next Down Syndrome Forum on Monday 10th November 2025.

This will be a great opportunity to meet other people with Down Syndrome and professionals who want to improve services for people with Down’s syndrome in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. It will be an informal,
social meeting with a light lunch.

  • Forum date: Monday 10th November
  • Forum Time: 12:00 – 3:00 pm 
  • Venue: Wolseley Centre, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, A51, Wolseley Bridge, Stafford ST17 0WT
  • What will happen: This will be an opportunity to meet other people with Down’s syndrome, their parents or carers, and professionals who want to improve health, social care, employment and housing services, for people with Down’s syndrome, in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. It will be an informal, social meeting with a light lunch. We will also have a fun activity at the end of the session. You do not have to stay for the whole session.
  • Access: The Wolseley Centre is accessible with dedicated parking bays and no step access. For more information, please see this video.
  • Expenses: Anyone attending the forum will re able to get their money back on the travel to and from  the venue, so please keep any receipts or tickets.
  • Getting there: The Wolseley Centre is easy to find on the A51 near Rugeley. Look for the brown tourist signs. Postcode: ST17 0WT
    • From Stafford: follow the A513 east towards Rugeley for 6 miles until you reach Wolseley Bridge. At the double roundabout cross the first, and turn left at the second into the Wolseley Garden Centre entrance. The driveway entrance to The Wolseley Centre is immediately on the right next to the small building
    • From Rugeley: take the A51 west for two miles. At the roundabout turn right into the Wolseley Garden Centre entrance. The driveway entrance to The Wolseley Centre is immediately on the right next to the small building
    • From Stoke-on-Trent: take the A34 south and then A51 south from Stone. Head south for 12 miles until you reach Wolseley Bridge. At the double roundabout take the left hand filter lane and then turn left at the second roundabout into the Wolseley Garden Centre entrance. The driveway entrance to The Wolseley Centre is immediately on the right next to the small building.
    • Bus: The Wolseley Centre is on bus route 826 between Stafford and Rugeley.
