Welcome to this new year’s edition of the newsletter. January is like a new notebook and who doesn’t love a new notebook. A time to reflect on last year and start with newfound enthusiasm, something the SSCB business team has certainly embraced.
The Board is working on their priorities for the coming years and the development of a new business plan to ensure our partners are working together to bring improved outcomes for children and young people across Staffordshire.
This edition brings news of a new eLearning package to help practitioners understand the importance of listening to the child’s voice ‘With or Without Words’ for the very young and non-verbal. We are also talking to Werrington Young Offenders Institute and introducing the team that ensures the young people are safeguarded at all times. We have safeguarding news from our partners as well as nationally along with news from our training team.
