You are invited to some Sharing Ideas events in your region as part of the NHS England and NHS Improvement Hearing Checks in residential special colleges and schools work (please find attached some further information about this work including an easy read version of this invite). Thank you very much for your interest to date in this work, you may already have heard about these events but please read on to find out the further action required in order to register your place (please see the ‘How do I confirm my attendance?’ section below).
Further information about the Sharing Ideas events
The dates for these events in the Midlands are below.
The idea is that you attend both events in your region as they follow on from each other but, if you are unavailable for one of them this is no problem as we will provide the relevant context in advance/at the start of the sessions and follow up afterwards.
The dates for the events are:
- Tuesday 1 February, 13:00-16:00, Midlands region Sharing Ideas event Part 1 – online event
Focussing on developing ideas for possible pilots (or test projects) to work out how we might implement hearing checks in residential special schools and colleges in a way that works for the young people having the hearing checks
- Wednesday 2 March, 13:00-16:00, Midlands region Sharing Ideas event Part 2 – online event
Focussing on bringing the ideas for the pilots (or test projects) developed in Event 1 to life
How do I confirm my attendance?
You may already have these events in your diary which is great, but please can you also complete this short survey in order to register to attend the events, we ask for your name, which events you want to attend, and if there is anything that we can do to make the event easier for you to take part in.
If you find it easier, please feel free to email this information to [email protected] instead.
If you have colleagues, friends/family or other people/organisations who you think would be interested in joining us please just let me know.
